The Dreaded Holiday Picture.

Last year it was mohawks and tie dyes. I'm comfortable with that. Give me a piercing, a tattoo, a mohawk, any kooky thing seems normal to me. What does not seem normal is for my nine year old son who has always been known as my sweet and precious angel to be so irritable. I bought him a really nice shirt. He hates it. Not only does he hate it, he storms off telling me I'm making it go from, "bad to worse." I tell him to wear whatever he wants, just put a smile on his face. God! Then my little bright light of a daughter (who is not moody for some reason-I know why, I just can't tell) comes bouncing down in the cutest dress with her heels in her hand all ready to go. My ying and yang. They switch rolls all the time. It seems when one is pissy the other stands up for me. The beauty of two I guess. So tonight I am so very thankful for Saige, with her big smile, her freshly washed hair, her sweet little dress and her calming voice. Thanks baby.

I like this cause Mickey is sticking out his tongue. I think it's funny. It's much better than the gagging noise's he is making now. I think my little kitten has a fur ball. :)

He did put a smile on for you after all...and you can't even SEE his shirt, so no big deal, right? Very nice picture! I can see you in both of their faces.

BTW--I thought you had 2 german shepards--is that a 3rd dog? Or was I just wrong?

Very, very cute picture.

The perfect time to kiss up to a parent is when the other sibling is being difficult. Kids know this. It makes them look twice as good. Mine do it every time; I go with it every time.

Love to know what Micky was thinking. One can only guess.....

Awww...really cute picture. When I only had two of them, the picture usually turned out well. With three...too much room for error. Hell, I haven't sent out a holiday card in 3 years...why start now?

Hey this is Mickey...ya ya the dog in the picture. Why do you think I am smiling and sticking my tongue out? Lets see, free food, I get to play anytime I want to< i sleep all day. Except when the boss lady in the house bothers me and I lick myself anytime I want...life is good people. So I stick my tongue out at all of you...suckers!

Dear Mom,

As an alumnus of Bloomsburg University I would like to weigh in. When I was at BU many of the guys in my fraternity were “friendly” with many of your daughter’s sisters. As my room was in the front of our frat house I was often woken up by the pitter pat of young women coming and leaving our home. Many times, many, many times they were from your daughter’s sorority.

I cannot speak for our little angel Amy, but I can speak for what I saw from her sisters and when I tell you; illegal, immoral and dangerous would be an understatement. I would add debaucherous, precarious and at time self-destructive.

While Amy, I am sure, was home studying, illegal, immoral and dangerous activities never happened! And I never participated in any of them….Wink, Wink.

Merry XMAS Mom
